Débutante.

The Orientation Ball themed Débutante was held at Istana Hotel on the 22nd of February 2013.

Being the seniors this year, my group of friends and I decided to go for the Orientation Ball again. That was not it actually, it's mainly because we weren't really close to one another yet last year and sat with different group of friends at the orientation ball then. As the tables have turned, we found our way in being inseparable as time passed by. So, having in mind that this might be the last grand college event that we can participate in together before we graduate, we decided to go. On the other hand, OB this year was very much different from last years. From the preparation to the after party. :)

This year, I did not stay home to prepare for the night but went to a friend's aunt's house to prepare. It was rather fun and good experience as I haven't really gone to a friend's place get ready for an event. What more, there were four of us. Thinking that we had all the time in the world (but in actual fact only had 4 hours), we simply took our time to help one another do our make up, nails and hair. Before we know it, we were rushing like mad because time magically passed by so fast that day. Fortunately, our friend's cousin was there to give us a helping hand with our make up. Nevertheless, it was an achievement because our hair up-do and make up were solely done by us without any professional help which I dare say was nice although we were just rookies in all these. ;)

After that, we made our way to the hotel where the event is being held. It was just a night full of performances, lucky draws and conversations with one another loaded with a whole lot of time taking pictures here and there with just about anybody. Haha. Be that as it may, we only had our dinner close to 10 o' clock at nigh just as it was like last year. It should just state 'supper' instead of 'dinner' on the agenda. Besides,  I can't say that the food served this year was as hearty as the ones served last year though. Oh well, I guess that the company is what matters. :) Before long, the event was over and even more photo taking sessions took place around the foyer while the lights in the grand ballroom was switched off and loud club musics were blaring from the speakers inside.

Then, a rather big group of us left the hotel and headed off to an after party at some place in Mont Kiara. Wouldn't say that it was the kind of night that I have expected but it was simply fun in its own way with the people I spent it with. :) We then spent the night at a friend's place. Hehe. I'll let the pictures do the talking now.

Twas' was indeed an awesome day (& night). :D
