The World As I See It.

I've been repeating the same thing over & over again lately.

"Things are not the same anymore."

Well, can't you agree more that the tables have indeed turned?

You are not who you used to be.

And neither can I say that I am who I was back then.

The real cause?

A mystery even to the both of us.

The touch of joy when we communicate.

The way we approach one another.

The way we portray our message.

The things we talk about.

The way we reply.

The sarcasms.

It's all but the same.

And yet, you said that nothing can be done.

I would have honestly argued back.

However, it's pretty clear that you hadn't registered what I kept saying before this.

"If we want things to work out, we'll find a way to make it happen."

Or simply, "Where there is a will, there is a way."

So, I just kept quiet and let things be.

Since then, things have been the way it is now.

Stale & dull.

And I hate to admit it but it is saddening.

How things have turned out.
That barrier between us. 

Nonetheless, what happens next is not exactly beyond our control.

As long as we choose to change.

PS. I honestly don't mean to convey my message in such a way because I know that I can look for you anytime but somehow it is easier for me to do it this way because I find it easier for me to express myself like this. Plus, if we go into serious conversations lately, miscommunications and misunderstandings tend to happen. I'm not too sure if you'd end up reading the whole post or not so yea. Don't take things the wrong way.
