Well, the main reason to why this thought spiraled up was because I went out with a few friends not too long ago and the thrill of seeing each other is not there anymore. Obviously, I don't think that it is a good thing. Nonetheless, I guess such things happen, don't they. As people grow, people change. :)
I have to bring up an irony though. As I was sitting down and pondering about everything that has been happening lately, it occurred to me how we used to see each other 5 days a week and yet we have so much to talk about and laugh about. Nowadays, even though we hardly see each other and meet up with one another every now and then, it feels as if there is nothing in common to be talked about and shared. Yes, there is that one lecturer who we always bring up and that one guy/girl that we talk about or even subject(s) to chat about but at the end of the day, as we meet up more and more often, there is less and less things to talk about. There are also the ones that do not make the effort to spend time with their friends even after being invited. They just don't realise that once they start turning other people down frequently enough, people will stop asking them out in the near future. Hate to admit it but it is really sad how things have become. Of course I hope that things will be the same way it used to be although the chances are very slim.
I really do hope that we will still keep each other in mind even if we don't talk or see each other regularly and think back and cherish every memorable moment we had with one another.
I don't know if it is just me or what but it is just what I think.
Could it be a sign?
