Anyway, college started off really rough for me. Lets just say that I couldn't really adapt to the environment just yet. Its a whole new environment with so many new people around me. The thing I miss most is my friends although there are a few who are from the same high school as me, we're not in the same class. Not even for a subject. Sigh. However, thank God for friendly people there though the ones who are cocky can be a real pain. With all their stares and glares thinking that they're oh-so-high-and-mighty. Like, seriously? Happy to say that they're the minority.
Besides that, the lecturers are not too bad. Nevertheless, 2 out of the 4 lecturers of mine are really boring. Lol. In every of their classes, I have to battle with my sleepiness and boredom. Okay, I admit that I'm not a good and the most ideal student any teacher or lecturer would want. I have my flaws and struggles especially when it requires me to pay attention. Lol. My attention span is really rotten. Luckily, I do have classmates who are really crazy and funny that helps me stay awake. Hee.
What is most saddening is that I thought I'm done with all the homework in the world once I set foot into college without realising that the pile of homework simply double up with just a snap of the fingers. They occasionally triple up too. I think my pile of homework is as high as Mount Kinabalu. The day I don't get homework shall be the day pigs fly. Goodness gracious. My lecturers are out of their mind. As a result, there isn't a day since college started that I hit the sack before the clock strikes midnight. Okay, I only get such chance once out of the 7 days in a week. I get less sleep in college than I get when I was in high school. I. Am. Sleep. Deprived. God bless me.
Its only the third week now. There is another year and a half for me to survive and adapt into college life. Hopefully things would turn around sooner and that I'll start enjoying and relishing college. With no complains. I think my parents are sick and tired of my rants every week. Lol.
Now, who said that college life is fun?
Bs. (Hoping that my perspective would change)
