Yesterday, Xiao Ran called me to accompany her watch the 3D version of Titanic at Times Square because she had 2 free tickets to be redeemed. On the other note, Jia-Yi called to invite me to stay over at Double Tree by Hilton with her as she had a free room and I invited her over to my church for Easter the next day. In fact, I invited the both of them. :) In the end, I accepted both their offers. Hee. Hey, its a good offer okay. And Xiao Ran decided to join us for the night.
Anyway, the downside about yesterday was that I couldn't meet up with Yvonne before she departs to Kedah to further her studies. Yes, Kedah is still in Malaysia but she is still my friend and I care. I just didn't know that she would leave so early. :( I am so sorry my dear. I promise to make up to you when you get back. Nonetheless, all the best to you and do find a hot guy from there okay? :D
Back to the story. I only met up with Jia-Yi and Xiao Ran after my dance practice for the Easter presentation today. Upon arrival to the hotel, I left my bag in the room and we went out straight to Pavilion. Here's the thing, none of us drove and it started drizzling. To save all the hassle, we decided to ride a cab over to Pavilion. Guess what. I don't mind the fact that the taxi driver thought that the three of us were Taiwanese but he freaking charged us RM10 for that short ride. YES. The uncle didn't use the meter and we were simply stupid enough to continue sitting at the back of the seat. Le sigh. One thing is for sure. He conned us. =.= Piss me off.
Putting that aside, we reached Pavilion safely and we head over to Forever 21 because I had to get some stuff and we just lazed around Pavilion thanks to the rain. Once the rain started to go away, we walked all the way to Times Square and was then joined by our friend, Abdullah. :) The plan to invite him to join us was rather impromptu actually. Lol. Oh well, he joined us and that is all that matters. Once there, we went straight up to the cinema counter to redeem the ticket. Best part was that the queue was so freaking long, we gave up and walked away. I didn't really mind considering the fact that I wasn't desperate to watch the movie after watching it for the millionth time but Jia-Yi was definitely devastated. Lol. Some other time, maybe? :D
Not too long later, we got hungry and decided to eat at Papa John's. Had a really filling dinner and we we just chilled there until. Well, until we felt like it. :) Oh wait, before that, we went over to Krispy Kreme for doughnuts. Lol. From there, we walked all the way to KLCC because Jia-Yi wanted to have a drink at Charlie Brown's as she hasn't been there before. Here is where things got interesting. We walked all the way to KLCC for Charlie Brown's just to find out that they were closing. Zomg. Legendary. Yet again, we were not as devastated and disappointed as Jia-Yi. Seems like yesterday just wasn't her day.
Being the usual us, we went over to Ben's for a cup of drink after much deliberation. We actually opted to watch a movie but the timing was just so out. So yea. We chilled. We talked. We laughed. We took pictures. Left. And took more pictures at the park. To be exact, around the fountain area and after half an hour, we left KLCC. As we were walking back to our hotel, we passed by Pelita and here we go again. Our third round. Lol. No, I'm serious. There, we ordered our drinks and a few other stuff. Then, the whole process started again. Talking and laughing and snapping of even more pictures. Once we were done satisfying our stomach, we walked back all the way to the hotel and Abdullah took a taxi home. :) Mind you, it was already 1 in the morning when we left Pelita. Hahaha.
Back at the hotel, we did what we had to do and before long, we crashed and slept like a log. Next morning which is this morning, I woke up and fled to church for the last practice while the two were still sleeping like pigs. At the end of the whole service, the three of us together with Vanessa went over to KLCC for lunch. Lol. After lunch, we finally went to Charlie Brown and Jia-Yi got to try her coffee and satisfy herself. Later, sent them home and came home myself. Went for an awesome dinner with the parents and here I am. Hee.
It was one awesome weekend after a long time. First time doing this with my friends. Definitely another fond memory made.
