An Honor.

Mother's Day is tomorrow and thanks to my brother, I was given the privilege to be the one planning on what to give my mother this year as it has been his duty to be getting it for the past few years. Nonetheless, my kind brother only informed me at 11 o' clock at night that I am supposed to be getting my mom something for Mother's Day. And I was wondering to myself, "HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU EXPECT ME TO GET IT DONE WITH  ONLY ONE DAY TO PLAN AND THINK?"

Being obedient, I said okay and I did some research on what to give. Let me just give you a brief picture on what I had in mind. Firstly, I thought of getting her a bouquet of flowers. Honestly, I would like to get her a custom made bouquet of flowers by going to the florist BUT I am not sure if the florist is open and I don't know another florist that sells fresh flowers around my area. Lol. Sad, I know. So, I decided to do an online delivery BUT the flower combination are not as I would like it to be AND I don't actually have a credit card to purchase the order. Fine, I thought.

Browsing through the web, I thought of buying mom a Groupon. YES! Perfect idea I thought. I immediately went to the website to browse through the promotions they were offering. Fortunately, I found two perfect promotions that I could get for my mom. 1 was a spa treatment and the other was a pedi and medi treatment. BUT I was a dilemma and didn't know which one to choose from and I had friends online so I decided to ask for their opinion. Finally, I made up my mind to buy both and I wanted to purchase the order. Thrilled, I clicked on the 'Buy Now' column AND I realised again that I don't have a credit card which kind of mean that I can't purchase it after all. You might be thinking that I can liaise with my father and use his credit card first and we'll pay him back later. Problem was, he was already sleeping and I couldn't possibly use his card without his permission, right? Then I thought I would ask him today and purchase the Groupon later today.

My siblings and I also decided to get mom a pendant BUT here is the biggest problem. I don't have a credit card or even enough cash with me. I then decided to go to the bank today to withdraw some money. To my disappointment, the bank is under renovation. @!#%@#$%#^%*%^%$&$ So HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET THE PENDANT? Rob the jewellery shop? What luck...

I am so out of ideas of what to get my mom now. I know it is the heart that counts but I know I can do better. Thing is, it is such a short notice that I cannot plan things properly. Gah, thanks bro.

Now, I hope that the headlines for today is "Mother's Day is Postponed to Next Week."
