Grand Finale.

It is the last day of the month today and it only bring about one thing. My semester break is coming to an end. I can't express how saddening this is. It feels it was only yesterday that my semester break started. Seriously! And before I realize, it is already the end of it. Aftermath is that I am just not ready for college all over again. Le sigh.

Nonetheless, I can say that this has been my best break by far. Despite the fact that it has burnt a big hole in both my parents and my own pocket, I think it was all worthwhile. It has also brought about the true meaning of friendship that I have with all my friends. Although we may not meet each other as often and stuff but in the end, we are still how and who we used to be back in the school days. I really did have fun with each and everyone of you and I express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you whom I manage to spend my time with. You guys rock my socks lah. :D

Let me just briefly share how my last weekend was spent. Hee. Not too long ago, I was having cravings for a Siamese and Korean cuisine. Without hesitation, I gave a call to my friends who are on break as well to go for some Thai food on Friday and decided to bunk in Xiao Ran's place again (it really feels as if her place is my second home). The day came along and we were brought to a restaurant nearby Taman Muda by Billy. Just in case you're wondering who were the ones who went, it was Billy, Sam, Xiao Ran, Vanessa, Wan Jiun and I. Must I say that the food was pretty awesome and we were just so stuffed by the end of the meal. Either way, I was pretty contented as I got to satisfy my cravings.

After lunch, we went to a snooker and pool centre nearby Alam Damai. Played these two billiard games for about 2 to 3 hours. Then, we went over to Jia-Yi's place. There, Vanessa and I had our own karaoke session while Jia-Yi, Sam, Billy and Xiao Ran played gin rami. Thing was that we wanted to play but it is like a 4 player game or some sort so we just hogged the mic and made music in their ears. Hehehe.

At about 7 o' clock in the evening, we left to a cafe nearby Taman Midah called In House Cafe for dinner and catch up with another big bunch. Namely Ming Yang, Koon Thong, Navian, Benjamin, Desmond and Peter. All of us had a good time bonding with each other once again after a long time. It definitely felt good to meet up with those who I hardly get to meet since high school ended. As usual, we would laugh, talk, joke, bully one another verbally and take pictures together. A new addition to our tradition though. Playing cards. I honestly don't know how this came around. Lol.

Not too long later, Desmond felt a little hungry and had the urge to eat. Koon Thong, Billy and I who were bored ourselves as we didn't going the others for a game of Bullshit decided to drive over to Taman Segar as they had pasar malam over there last night. Once there, we walked and ate for the second time that night. We had rojak, fried cempedak, fried dumpling, otak-otak, honeydew & mango lolo (some shaved ice dessert) as well as a cup of 'sa lei' drink. Lol. Being one of the last customers of the night, the hawker whom we bought the dessert from actually offered us extra fruits as toppings. Lol. Basically, we got most of our food slightly cheaper or we would have extra. :D

We then headed back to In House to fetch join the rest once again and to settle the bill. Here is the highlight of the day. I'll simply make the long story short. :) The waiter or waitress made a slight mistake as we had so many orders that night and they had to open many bills just for our table. Lol. So, they simply printed the receipt for the last order only which so happens to be of the least value. Without further or do, we paid and literally walk off. FAST. Lol. I know that it wasn't really honest of us and what not but it wasn't our fault and we only live once after all. :D It surely felt as if we struck a big jackpot that night. Back at Xiao Ran's, we simply did what two best friends would do and talk about. :)

Next morning, we met up again for dim sum for breakfast in Taman Connaught. I was joined by Xiao Ran, Jia-Yi, Billy, Sam, Desmond, Koon Thong and Kai Hoong. Did the usual stuff you do when you meet up with your friends and ate like a boss. :D Later, we part our ways. While Jia-Yi went to Sunway, Koon Thong together with Desmond & Kai Hoong went to the city to meet up with the other bunch, Billy, Sam, Xiao Ran and I went to play snooker at some snooker centre. Lol. It feels as if I am a professional billiard player now. :D Played 4 rounds of games and we left to Pavilion to meet up with Tan & Aik Mun. There, we sat and just catch up with one another. Good times.

After that, I got home. And that is how my last weekend with my friends went by. :)

Once again, thank you guys for all your time spent with me. It means the world to me that you guys made this break of mine a memorable one. Trust me, there are more to come. Hehe. Really heart you people to bits.
