I honestly can't help but to agree more with him. Malaysia is like a freaking scary place to be lately. Okay, I know that these things happen only in Malaysia but the crime rates are increasing so drastically that such things doesn't seem to be out of the norm. In fact, it has become a topic that is often discussed among the civilians. I still remember the days whereby such case used to be a huge thing when it is published in newspapers. Come to think of it, it doesn't seem to have a big and visible effect on the public when these things are reported now. Though, what is worst is that these cases seem much more gory and brutal. Even the thought of it sends shivers down my spine. I mean, the criminals seem so heartless to attack and assault just about anybody and everybody who they can easily target. Age and gender doesn't seem to be a barrier anymore.
Speaking of which, I can truthfully say that I am pretty freaked out myself. I've been hearing so much of stories from different parties and all which doesn't seem to make things better and easier for me. It is just so unsafe to travel anywhere alone. Even for the guys.
Bottom line is to be prepared and alert at all times. Whatever happens, try not to panic and think of a way out if possible. It is better to give the felons what they want instead of putting yourself at risk.
To all my friends - especially the girls out there, please please please be safe and watch out. I wouldn't and can't bear to see anything happen to you people.
