Forevers, they don't exist.

Forever.
One word. Seven letters.

I used to believe in the word, forever. Which seems to be a rather simple word. I'm sure all of us did and some of us still do. No doubt that the particular word seems to give you an affirmation and peace that things will last till the end of time. But little did I know that what I once believed in turns out, otherwise. Forevers, they do not exist in most of the context.

Things somehow can't last forever. People change over time. As people change, things change. And all that you will come to realise is that things will never be the same again. Even if its your hope for things to remain the same as always deep down in your heart. Fact of life is that once things change, it is very unlikely to be the same again. That! Is one thing about life. You cannot hope for things to be the same forever. Going down the road, transformations happen. Whether you like it or not. Yet another thing about life is that you don't have a choice but to live with the changes that happen. There is no instruction book about life or warnings about it. All you can ever do is to learn through experiences or the pains you go through.

Here is a food for thought. (Sorry if it is kinda out of topic.) Wouldn't it be nice if pains and sorrows and disappointments and despair hadn't exist? The world would be such a beautiful place to be in. All you ever need to deal with are smiles and laughters. Tears aside. But people often say that it is all the pains and sorrows that you go through that makes you stronger. I somehow feel that it solely depends on the individual. It is their choice of route.

Pains that we go through of leave scars. Sad thing about scars is that once they're there, they're there forever. The scars won't heal but the wounds will. Something I learnt from Kung Fu Panda 2. :) Speaking of which! Its a must watch. Super cute. And touching. And lotsa messages portrayed. Hee.

Till the next post. Toodles. :)
