A Walk To Remember

So, I watched this movie this afternoon. :) I know that it is one old movie and you might label me outdated to only watch this after so long but better late than never, right?

Well, I've got to say that this is actually a nice movie. I mean, there are so many messages portrayed through this movie and it is somewhat interconnected to the society nowadays.

One of the explicit ones is that we shouldn't judge people by their appearance or what they seem to be. In a simple way, never judge a book by its cover. Which is very true cause there is just so much more than to one's story. What you see on the outside is just so different from what really lies deep down. But it is only human to judge people through the surface.

And oh, how much a person would do out of love. Its just so, dreamy. There was a point in this movie when Jamie (the main actress) told her boyfriend that she is actually diagnosed with leukemia and at moment, I actually thought that he would actually leave her out of him feeling burdened by her. But to my surprise, he actually went through those tough times with her and was determined to be with her. I mean, who would ever knew he would do that considering the fact that you have a sick partner and still be with that person. My speculations were wrong then. I know, you'd be thinking that this is just a movie but it is undeniable to what extent a person would go just for the sake of love. The sacrifices made. The sorrows endured. Its just so funny how much love can change a person.

To get a better hang of the story, go watch it. Its worth watching, seriously. :)

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

1 Corinthians 13:4–8a
